- Outside cutting spurs cleanly shear the wood fibers to score the edge and smooth the sides of every hole.
- Flat bottom, easily sharpened main cutting edges make it easy to cut fast and bore deep holes.
- Hole in the blade to help fish wires. (These bits are very popular with electricians and alarm installers).
- You can easily "touch up" grind the two cutter wings to sharpen or "adjust" the size for a custom hole diameter. For example: make a 23/32" hole from a 3/4" bit that has been re-ground.
