Create circles and ellipses with your router using our new Curv Pro™ Cutting System

Use this unique circle and ellipse jig to make round and oval table tops, mirrors, picture frames, and arched or radius trims and moldings. Create circles from 22-3/4" to 89-1/4" diameter or create ellipses from 22-3/4" x 26-5/8" to 32" (minimum size) to 89-1/2" x 80-1/2" to 85-3/4" (maximum size). Assembly and use is fast and easy. Includes detailed assembly and operation instructions. Predrilled router plate has countersink holes and router mounting screws to mount the most popular fixed base and plunge routers to the plate. The plastic cross frame screws in place on the bottom side of your workpiece, using the included screws. T-slots in the cross frame allow the T-bar rod mounts to securely hold in the jig. For best results, use a plunge cutting straight router bit or spiral upcut router bit.

This works like a charm. Another MLCS winner !

According to the specs, the smallest circle that can be cut using this jig is a diameter of 22 3/4". However, by mounting the T-bar sliding mount directly to the workpiece, I found that the steel rod would mount exactly into one of the holes in the base of a Harbor Freight 'Chicago' 1 3/4 HP router. I was then able to rout an inside circle of less than 10 1/2" for the dial of a clock I'm making.

A couple of comments -- the parts list calls out 2 x 1" washers to mount the base plate bracket. Included in the kit is only one washer, but it is of double-thickness. Also, the parts diagram shows the rod mounting bracket already mounted on the base plate; it's not that way in the kit, and there are 3 metric nuts, bolts and washers included but not called out on the parts list.
