The next review is only a reference based on my experience.

I have to say that the product, in general, works well if you will only use them few times in all of your work, if you have to use them daily you have to purchase a better MLCS Set, of course, more $$$. This set was perfect for me because i will only use them few times.

Let´s talk about this set that i received.

1) The Box: It keeps the bits secure. it isn´t nice and is not well manufactured but its something.

2) The Bit Size: I have measured the diameter in all bits and they are enough precise to the size that is print on it. for example, the bit of 25.4mm (1") is really 25.28mm and the final hole is 25.38. The others the size can vary in more o less 0.10mm - 0.20mm in its diameter and the final holes are very near to the expected size.

3) The center point: Here the problems begin, each bit has its center point out of axis, this is sad, you probably will have to correct them.

4) The bit is not perfect: When the bit begin to spin you can see that the head is not well, you can see it move a little bit, this is a important problem but if you don´t really need accuracy this can be ignored.

5) The edge: The Edges are not well sharpened, they have imperfection along the edge and the sides, this is a big problem because you have to use more strength to get a deep cut. you have to correct them with a milling machine or a rotatory tool with a flexible axis these edges and sides.

6) The cutter action: they can cut soft and hard wood. I immediately tested them when i got them. I used a Cedar of 2" thick and drilled 1" depth, the cuts are nice, the friction did not burn the bit but the wood was burned a little bit. I used a Ebony of 1" thick and drilled 3/4" depth and it works! but with effort because the edge is not enough sharp, again, you have to correct them.

7) The finish: The surface of the bits are very nice, they look great! if you use the bit a with a 2500 RPM or more they probably will burn, I use them from 520 - 1500 RPM and they works well.

8) If you want to use them for a heavy duty, this is not for you but if you want a tool that can drill enough flat hole in your work, this is for you!

these bits do the work that i need right now, in the future i will buy de master set of MLCS.
