Katana® Door & Drawer Sets feature razor sharp, micro-grain carbide diamond honed cutters, safety gauge shanks, high hook and shear angles, and more. SAVE $47! These sets feature router bits needed for furniture and cabinet making. Frame and panel construction is a woodworking standard, and the strongest method of door building. These premium sets include:
  • The Undercutter Raised Panel bit makes a flush or reduced upper panel profile, or adds a radius to the back of the panel. 3-1/8" large diameter (Shaker is 2-1/2").
  • The Matched Rail and Stile 2 Piece Sets create precise rails and stiles that form the durable door frame. Use with 3/4" stock.
  • The Glue Joint bit: when the panel needs to be wider than your stock, mill two or more pieces of stock with reverse cut edge joints to achieve the needed width. Assemble, glue up, and your panel is ready to be raised.
  • The Drawer Lock bits cuts the drawer front and the drawer side, for a perfectly matched, long lasting, extremely strong joint.

    I have had these bits for about a year and still cut just like the way they did when I received new. Upon further review I was inspecting and noticed small nick on carbide tip and called MLCS. They advised me to ship back immediately and replaced it with brand new one and everything was done with in one week. I do not know any other company that warranty's a bit like the Katana bits at MLCS. That's why I buy all my bits from them.

    I was very impressed with the Katana bits. I purchased the shaker style with under cutter. I have made a few hickory doors with them. Once I got the router and feed speed set these things perform flawless. I have no tear out or burning on my pieces. If they perform this well on hickory they should be superb on any other material. Thanks MLCS
