Invented by Benjamin Forstner in 1874, the Forstner Bit can cut overlapping holes and are excellent for drilling through veneer. MLCS offers 50 individual high quality steel forstner bits (most with hex shanks) and carbide tipped boring bits ranging in size from 5/16" to 4". When using large Forstner bits in a drill press, the MLCS Drill Press Table is a great accessory.
