    I had very clean cuts on an alder panel. I made a half cut the first pass and then all the way onto the bearing for the final cut with excellent results Good tool for the money!

    I just tried this on some 3/4" stock, and it's terrific. Of course, good sense tells us to ease into these cuts since there's a lot of wood to remove. Doing that doesn't bog things down at all. On a whim, I pushed end grain through, complete cut in one pass. Beautiful results.

    2 flute, carbide tipped with totally enclosed ball bearing guide. This versatile router bit creates dramatic rail and stile doors, picture or mirror frames, chair rails, crown moldings or other decorative trim. Combine with any raised panel router bit to create highly decorative raised panel doors that until now have only been available through high end cabinet shops. Use a 1/4" slot cutter to create the slot for the raised panel or a rabbeting bit to make glass panel doors, mirrors or picture frames. The stock is mitered at 45º, glued and biscuit joined to create a sturdy secure joint. This bit is designed to work with 2-13/16" wide stock and a recommended thickness of at least 3/4". Use in a 1/2" table mounted router. For cup hinges, use 1" thick stock (minimum). 1/2" shank. (18781).

    Bought the ogee set, was my first time using a matched set like this. After a few test cuts to get the set up right, it was a breeze. Nice tight fits on the joints. Don't bother with the set up blocks like I did. Just dial it in on some scrap. These are sharp! Be careful getting it out of the rubber coating, so no trips to the ER like I read in another guys review.

    I bought the #18843 round over set - it was great! The fit was perfect and the cut very clean. Set up was simple. I couldn't be happier. I bought a number of Katana bits for this project and all produced perfectly clean cuts. This was my first time buying Katana bits but certainly wont be my last - I'll be buying them from now on.
