K-Premium Pattern / Flush Trim Router Bits
- Reviews
2 flute, carbide tipped with totally enclosed ball bearing guides. The top mounted bearing is ideal for template routing. In addition to template routing these bits are convenient for flush trimming in many applications where a bottom mounted bearing is not practical. Exactly trims workpiece to pattern. No sanding is required. 1/4" and 1/2" shank.

To whom it may concern,
I just wanted to thank you for a very fine product.
The Katana router bits are easily the best that I have ever used.
I build open baffle loudspeakers for home audio use and use the Katana top bearing bits with templates.
Some of the hardwoods that I use are very “hard” ….. purpleheart, bubinga, wenge, hard maple, etc.
The Katana bits are still sharp after repeated use and easily cut through these hardwoods.
The edges and finish are always perfect.
I have used router bits from several of your competitors in the past ….. some of them are well known “name brands” and expensive.
The Katana bits outperform all of them.
They are also reasonably priced, which is a big plus for a small business such as mine.
Best wishes,
Randy

I have been using all sorts of different router bit brands lately, instead of relying solely on magazine reviews or name brands. As fine as they are, some of the Italian bits and even a high end American brand I have been loyal to, simply seem to have bearing issues. Other imports I have recently tried, skimp on carbide thickness, or lack fit/finish. This bit seems to be top notch in every regard. If it lasts a little better, I will be buying more Katana bits.

Received this bit yesterday and used it on 1-1/8" thick oak following my pattern. It was sheer pleasure using this bit. It cut the oak like it was butter. This is my first Katana bit but it will not be my last.
