MLCS was born out of a frustrated woodworkers inability to find good quality, affordable, carbide tipped router bits. And while large profile shaper cutters were available, it was very difficult to find large diameter router bits. Once we located the bits we wanted, the light bulb blinked on. We figured other woodworkers were having the same problem we were, so the idea for a mail order router bit catalog was born. We started in a home workshop in 1980 with about 6 profiles but lots of dedication and woodworking expertise.

Although our staff, facilities, and product line have grown over the years, we have never lost sight of our original goal: to offer innovative, quality router bits and woodworking products at the lowest prices possible.

We now offer hundreds of individual router bits and sets, router tables, shaper cutters, forstner bits, drill bits, and unique woodworking accessories.
