By John Wolbach (Lansdale PA US)
These template guide bushings are nicely machined with good surface finish and no burrs. The collar diameters are accurate fractional sizes within +/-0.003 inch. Threads are cleanly cut, and the nuts fit well. The collars seem concentric with the outside diameter.
For some unknown reason, each bushing has a different height collar, ranging from 0.160 to 0.565. I sawed off the excess and faced them off in the lathe for compatibility with 1/4 thick templates.
The flange (outside diameter that fits into the recess in the router base) ranged from 0.093 to 0.122 thick. My router base recess is 0.110 deep, and my router table plate insert is 0.102 deep. So a little more lathe work was needed to turn the overly-thick flanges to 0.100.
Overall, I found these template guide bushings to be functional and worth the asking price.
