Comparing the Precision and Heavyweight Router Tables

The main differences between the Precision Sliding table and Heavyweight table are:

Precision "Sliding" Table

31" X 22""

Sliding aluminum table top

Independently adjustable fence faces allow offsetting infeed / outfeed fence

2-1/2" plastic dust port on fence hood

Solid lower shelf in stand

Table type

Table Size

Making Cross Cuts

Dust Collection

"Heavyweight" Router Table

27" X 20""

Miter Slot and Miter Gauge

Fixed fence faces with no provision to offset fences

4" port in cast-iron dust hood

Open bottom stand (leg bracing only)

Both tables have a cast-iron table top section. The sliding aluminum section on the Precision Router Table is bolted to a steel table frame. If you want to mount these on a cabinet, we would suggest keeping them on the steel frame and mounting the table frame to the cabinet (if you choose not to use the included steel stand).
