Router Table Spline Sled
- Video
- Reviews

This innovative jig slides easily in your router table's miter slot, and clamps the workpiece tightly between two adjustable (and removable for larger boxes) support fences. Rout slots with dovetail, straight or straight spiral bits, then make a spline to glue into each slot, creating a strong miter joint. The splines add a finished look to your project when you make them out of contrasting wood.

Not what I had hoped for. In using the jig, I notice my box was unstable and discovered that the bed was not a true 90 degrees. It was out by about .017" which is too much. Using a double fold of turners tape solves the immediate problem but I can see that a more permanent solution is in the future.
Frankly, for the price, it should be bang on.

The laminate was peeling right out of the box. Easy to put together. Will work with it soon.

Received it yesterday and it seems to be well made.EZ to assembly. I think its going to be an excellent addition to my tool & jig accessories. Hope to be on a product and use it in a few days.

I just received the #9538 router table spline jig for birthday gift from my dad. Put it all together and started to pick it up with both hands, because it's fairly heavy, and part number " E " had the little embedded anchors pull right out . I am guessing those parts should be made out of real wood, as the MDF isn't strong enough. I will make new ones out of a nice piece of BIRCH.
